Inauguration of the Smile Art Bus by TPG – Geneva Public Transport, on Friday, January 19, 2018.
Two buses, one from TL in Lausanne and the other from TPG (Geneva Public Transport) in Geneva, have been adorned with large-format canvases by Laura Chaplin and transformed into mobile art galleries circulating in both cities for 4 months.
The artist Laura Chaplin, granddaughter of Charlie Chaplin and daughter of Eugene Chaplin, was born on February 1, 1987, at the Manoir de Ban in Corsier-sur-Vevey. Heavily inspired by her grandfather’s humor, the ambassador of the Charliesmile.org foundation aims to convey through her art an emotion and a message of joy, positivity, and sharing. The two buses display different paintings by Laura Chaplin each month.
